This is one of two 8 1/2" x 11" gig flyers I designed for Rock Against Racism shows we produced in San Francisco in the late 1970s up through 1980. I was given a list of Bands in order of appearance and in the midst of them was listed "Dead Kennedys", who I'd never heard of in 1979. So, given the band name, I was compelled to interpret their name with lots of bullet holes all round it. Some people took offense that I would render their name riddled with bullet holes, they thought it was "sick" (not "sick" in it's current positive connotation..) This is perhaps the last remaining photo copy I have. I've not seen the original layout in several decades. If it is ever located we'd automatically include it. Till then this is the only known copy in existence. (---Like the Shroud of Turin...)
