New Moon for the Old World

New Moon for the Old World (2011). Winston Smith brings together primitive figures, modern technology, and cosmic imagery in a surreal black-and-white dreamscape. By placing a television, automobile, Earth, and satellite-like orb alongside scenes of everyday human activity, the collage playfully questions humanity’s ideas of progress. As always, Smith leaves the story open for viewers to interpret.

Comes in a silver upcycled frame (NOTE: This frame has a little wear on two of the corners (see images) but looks beautiful overall.
